Letter Before Action....... Straightforward recovery action for a low cost fixed fee of £7.50. We will send a letter before action (court action) on your behalf within 24 hours on undisputed debts. No commission is charged on your recovered monies.

County Court Action....... A free of charge service supporting County Court Action offered at the end of our collection cycle. Simply pay the up front court fees, commission is only charged on your recovered monies.

Locating Your Debtors or Missing Persons...... We can trace absconded debtors or tenants for a low fixed cost. You will receive a full Trace Report within 7-10 business days. No find - no fee. If you wish us to collect any debt associated with the debtor this will be done on a no collection no fee basis.

Land Ownership Search...... For a fixed fee of £10.00 we can confirm the owners of registered land with 24 hours and detail of the purchase price and any known mortgage detail.

Find People Using our Electoral Roll Search..... Results usually within one hour for a low cost fixed fee of £4.99. Find a person quickly or just confirm residence. County Court Action....... A free of charge service supporting County Court Action offered at the end of our collection cycle. Simply pay the up front court fees, commission is only charged on your recovered monies. Please call to discuss further.  

We will only issue county court proceedings for our clients when we envisage a reasonably good chance of success - we would not advise clients to through good money after bad chasing a career debtor or someone who has filed for an IVA or bankruptcy.

Before you embark on County Court Action should should ensure you have either copy invoices or a statement of account for unpaid goods or services or if you are a landlord seeking to recover rent arrears a copy of the tenancy agreement and a breakdown of the rents overdue.

Usually our pre-legal procedures will secure payment from your debtor, but if not our Legal Department is on hand to discuss the action necessary in the county court to recover the debt.

You will simply need to download the HMCS (Her Majesty’s Courts Service) claim form - it is not necessary to fill in this form as we will do this on your behalf.

Just print out the form and sign it where indicated and send it to us together with the appropriate court (see the on line County Court Fees section).

You need to allow 14 days from the date of receipt of your court fee for Resolve Collection Services to submit the claim with the appropriate county court. The County Court will issue the summons to the debtor who will then have 14 days to respond. If the debtor does not respond judgement can be obtained by default.

It is important that disputes are highlighted early to us as a debtor will usually raise these in a defence. Defended actions can become more costly as they may involve the use of local solicitors and attendance at Court.

Please call us and talk through the options available as contact from our litigation department to the debtor can often bring about a much faster and more cost effective response from.

Don’t forget that you are entitled to sue for any legitimate debt owed to you by individuals, sole traders, partnerships or any limited company.
